Muay Thai and Kickboxing in Santa Maria da Feira: where to train
If you are looking for Muay Thai or Kickboxing classes in Santa Maria da Feira, you have probably noticed there is no shortage of places to throw a few kicks. What is often missing is a place where you learn to strike with real technique, to defend yourself properly, and where you feel part of something.
At Badazz Station, in Arrifana, striking is taken seriously. Muay Thai and Kickboxing are not cardio-with-gloves classes, they are combat disciplines taught by people who train and build competitors.
What is the difference between Muay Thai and Kickboxing?
Good question, and the answer helps you choose.
- Kickboxing uses fists and legs: punches and kicks, fast and explosive. It is excellent for fitness, coordination and building confidence on your feet.
- Muay Thai, the art of eight limbs, adds elbows, knees and the clinch, the close-range standing grappling. It is more complete up close and a very strong base for anyone who wants to move on to MMA.
You do not have to decide today. Many members train both and let their body choose. In your first class you try it and feel which one fits you best.
Who the classes are for
Everyone. We welcome people who have never thrown a punch in their life and people who already compete. The first month is not about being good, it is about showing up. Technique comes after, and it comes faster when you train in the right place with people who know how to correct you.
Men and women train side by side, each at their own pace. If you want something more focused, we also have Lady Boxing and Kids classes for younger ones.
Why train striking at Badazz
- Coaches who compete, led by Peter. You learn from people who step into the ring, not just from people who read about it.
- Several disciplines under one roof. You can add striking to Wrestling or Luta Livre and progress much faster.
- A community that pushes you. Brotherhood Beyond Limits is not just a line on the wall.
Coming from outside Santa Maria da Feira?
Many of our members make the trip on purpose. We have pages for people training from Aveiro, Porto, São João da Madeira and Oliveira de Azeméis, among other areas.
How to start
Your first class is free, with no commitment. Check the schedule, pick a session that fits your day and book your trial class. Show up, try it and see if you like the room. The rest sorts itself out after that.
